The Stout & Co. building, was built on the foundation of a former brewery, hence the name. It has been renovated with great attention to the craftsmanship. You will appreciate all the details and nostalgia of the old early 60’s building, like the great details in our steel windows.

The original brewery De Gekroonde Valk (The Crowned Falcon) was founded in the 18th century, and closed its doors in 1956.
The statue right opposite our front door is a reminder of the days when beer was brewed here.

You will be happy to know that at the end of our street ‘Brewery ‘t IJ’ opened it’s doors in the late 20th century, giving you the opportunity to try out their local beers, plenty of which are organic.
