Stout& co is just perfect in every way.On arrival we were greeted by the owners,so nice and welcoming,cool Design and style of all decor in the appartments. High standard of detail and lots of thought have made for a quality environment to enjoy your stay in Amsterdam. The terrace is so inviting for a drink or breakfast, an oasis in the city! Faultless made easy .

Last week we spent one night at Stout&Co. The rooms are very spacious and lovely designed. We loved the relaxing vibe. The BnB is located in a quiet neighbourhood, but nearby the centre, nice restaurants, a zoo and green parcs.
Just spent a cheeky four days in Amsterdam and stayed at Stout and Co. This B n B in a converted Brewery now an Architects business is pretty cool. The rooms are stylishly designed and decorated and the breakfast is great. The location is very quiet but still close enough to the action. The staff are very friendly and helpful even providing a map and good recommendations of places to visit. We hired bikes for the duration of our stay which enabled us to get around and further afield than the centre. The area called Jordaan is cool and the free Ferry ride to Noord Amsterdam is worth doing to see a bit of the countryside close to the City. it is worth pre booking tickets to the Anne Frank House to avoid lengthy queues. a good few days and we will definitely be back. We had a wonderful 2 night stay at Stout & Co in June 2016. We loved the apartment decor and design (seriously, when can we move in?) and the Aesop products are divine.
The attention to detail in the whole room was great and the recommendation cards in the breakfast room were a lovely touch.
Our top recommendation is a visit to Brouwerij t ij (a local brewery near the tallest wooden windmill in the Netherlands). It’s located a short walk away and they offer great bar snacks and beers for a sunny afternoon.
We can’t wait to visit again and will be recommending Stout & Co to our friends.

El hotel esta en una zona tranquila. 15 minutos caminando pero realme te se agradece porque es tambien mu lindo llegar hasta alli. Todo es delicadeza y dedicacion. El desayuno espectacular!!!! It’s located perfectly – within short walking distance to the city centre but also in a very calm and tranquil neighbourhood.
The rooms were just right, a perfect mixture between comfortable with a down-to-earth feeling but also very stylish and luxurious. Beds were marvellous to sleep in!
The little roof garden is an added bonus.
We only stayed for one night unfortunately, but I’d book it all over again and recommend it to anyone interested in visiting Amsterdam :)

Stout & Co is the perfect haven to return to after a day exploring the wonders of Amsterdam. The rooms are beautiful- modern, clean with everything you could need for a comfortable stay, and the roof garden just outside is a wonderful bonus to sit with a drink on a sunny day. Every staff member we met was so helpful and friendly, and went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. Breakfast is a highlight- such a fabulous selection of healthy and delicious fresh produce, one of the best we’ve tried. The location is spot on, a leisurely 20 minute stroll or it is close to local bus and tram services if you don’t fancy the walk.
We would not hesitate to stay here again, and thank everyone at Stout & Co for the perfect stay in Amsterdam.
Stout was lovely in every way possible- the room, the people, the breakfast and the garden deck were all wonderful and welcoming. It also has a nice quiet yet central location, making one feel more like a local and less like a tourist. We will definitely stay again the next time we are in Amsterdam.
I spent two nights at the Stout&Co. mid of May 2016. The rooms are very comfortable, clean, modern,… summarized: perfect. Arienne is really a nice host and I felt welcome.
The location is a 15-20 minutes walk to the center, so really close but calm!
I would recommend the Stout&Co. to everyone and will rebook it again next time in Amsterdam.
My husband and I enjoyed our two night stay at Stout & Co very much. Really nice rooms with entrance to the terrace and really nice furnished. With only 5 rooms we really felt very welcome and the stay get very personalized with good recommendations and guidence where to go.
The ecologic breakfast was wonderfull.
We also enjoyed the visit at the nearby brewery IJ, if you go there don’t forget to visit the small restaurant besides it.
A very beautiful place to explore Amsterdam. Amazing design of all, floor, room, terrace in detail with high quality products for breakfast, in the bathroom and minibar. Clear and straight structure in all. Very friendly people and short ways to the city of Amsterdam. We enjoyd the 4 days very much and like to recommand the hotel for all people are looking for another art of hotel.
We very much enjoyed our stay in this BnB with a very special history. Stefan handed us a city map including instructions and his own recommendations.
The wonderful breakfast prepared by Arienne, Maudits and Sascha was delicious.
Our hosts are not professionally friendly, but they do their job with passion, and that is what we felt and saw in the many details in the whole building and in the way they pampered us. Highly recommended.

J’ai passé un moment très agréable au stout & co, la chambre est parfaite : propre, clair, bien agencée et bien décorée. Les chambres sont situées dans un quartier calme très proche de l’hyper centre, dans un immeuble qui nous laisse l’impression d’être chez l’habitant… Un vrai plaisir. Il manquait peut être juste un micro onde dans la kitchenette, et cela aurait été parfait. Un grand merci à Stout&Co qui nous a permis de passer un excellent séjour sur Amsterdam. See you soon

Abbiamo trovato casualmente questo b&b, basandoci su altre recensioni entusiastiche e non siamo rimaste deluse, anzi!
Praticamente in centro, ma fuori dalla confusione notturna, in un tranquillo quartiere residenziale, abbiamo avuto la piacevole sensazione di “casa”. E’ stato tutto perfetto, estremamente pulito, letto comodissimo, macchina Nespresso e disponibilità di prodotti da bagno ottimi, per non parlare della colazione estremamente “healthy” e curata nei dettagli.
La cosa che maggiormente ci ha colpito è la disponibilità dello staff: Stefan ci ha segnato su una cartina itinerari precisissimi con tutte le cose da non perdere ad Amsterdam e ci è stata veramente utile.
Se dovessi tornare ad Amsterdam sceglierei sicuramente lo Stout & Co.!

We had a wonderful four night stay at Stout & Co. Located above an architecture practice in a creative part of the city, the renovated 60’s building is a short 20 minute walk from the city centre.
Beautifully designed, the apartments are spacious, very clean with a comfortable bed, great shower, lovely Aesop products, design magazines and an imaginatively stocked minibar.
Breakfast was delicious and everyone super welcoming with fantastic recommendations for restaurants and places to visit in the city.
I would really recommend Stout & Co as a stand out place to stay in Amsterdam.
