Stout & Co was an absolutely fantastic choice for our stay in Amsterdam. It was a beautiful, modern, well appointed and clean space for an extremely reasonable rate in the perfect location of east Amsterdam. Sonia and the rest of the staff were extremely helpful in giving us recommendations to fill out our itinerary. Needless to say I have already recommended Stout & Co. to 3 friends planning trips to Amsterdam. Also, do yourself the favor and get breakfast there, it was worth every euro.

Stout & Co. is a wonderful property that is near everything but just off the beaten trail. You get a living area that is spacious and first class yet very reasonably priced. The functionality and seclusion created by the design of the building makes your visit special. Don’t pass on the breakfast, it’s very good! Your hosts pay attention to detail and are there to assist in any way they can. My daughter and I had a wonderful time.
We loved our stay at Stout&Co , very cool and comfortable Rooms with a beautyful Terrace.
Excellent location in the center of Amsterdam but in a very quiet street. Lovely staff <3

Wonderful stay, very helpful staff. Indeed this was the second time, five years apart. No change in quality. Clean and well located. Wonderful back garden with convenient seating.

Friendly greeting when we arrived, showed us up to our room and spent around 10 minutes with us highlighting on a map where places were in conjunction to the apartment.
The room… wow! I thought the photos looked good, but the rooms were even better than expected. No expense was spared in them, quality with every turn. I especially enjoyed the quality of the pillows, my partner was very happy with the expensive toiletries that were included in the bathroom!
We both thought that the apartment was situated in a really nice area, which wasn’t far away from the centre (leisurely 10/15 minute walk).
All in all, a fantastic place to stay when visiting Amsterdam, and I’d highly recommend this to others! Hope to be making a return trip soon!
We loved our stay at Stout & Co! Travelling with a small baby we found the location very peaceful and it was great to be able to walk everywhere. The room was really spacious and it was lovely to have a separate little seating area and kitchenette. Arienne was really helpful and welcoming. There is no lift in the building but there’s a storage area on the ground floor where we were able to stash our buggy which was very handy. We’ve already recommended it to friends travelling to Amsterdam and would love to stay again, for longer next time!

Das Stout & Co. hat meine Reise nach Amsterdam perfekt abgerundet! Die Apartments sind großzügig eingerichtet, haben ein tolles und individuelles Design und sind alle mit einem separaten Eingang versehen. Man wird sehr freundlich begrüßt und mit tollen Tipps rund um Amsterdam empfangen. Wer möchte, bekommt ein frisches und leckeres Frühstück mit lokalen Produkten. Besonders die Pflegeprodukte haben mich begeistert, denn auch diese bestehen aus natürlichen Inhaltsstoffen und duften unglaublich gut.
Die Zimmer sind sauber, gepflegt und sehr ruhig gelegen. Man ist aber dennoch direkt in der City und kann alles zu Fuß oder mit dem Fahrrad erledigen.
Meine erste Reise nach Amsterdam und ich werde definitiv wiederkommen!

Ik vond het in 1 woord héérlijk! Alles! Van het geweldig mooie gebouw tot het zalige ontbijt tot de prachtig ingerichte kamer, de fijne aesop producten, de sympathieke Steven (een van de eigenaren) en de supervriendelijke Arienne (die me veel leuke tips gaf)!! Ik wilde niet meer naar huis, zo fijn was het. Ik kom snel weer :)
Perfect stay at Stout! Ideally located, not far from center, lots of bars and restaurants around. Most importantly you, the staff was super helpful and flexible when we needed it.
The place itself is extremely well designed and well decorated.

The room and the terrace are lovely, the place is quiet and peaceful, but well located with several cool restaurants, cafes and attractions around. Sonja was a great host, very warm and helpful. And the breakfast was delicious too!

Zeer vriendelijke ontvangst, behulpzame uitbaters, nuttige info (kaarten, info over rresto’s, musea, etc ) beschikbaar. Het is een zeer mooi pand op een goede locatie. Zeer ruime, lichte en propere kamers met alle comfort en een prachtig dakterras met de allure van een echte binnentuin. Absolute aanrader. Bij ons volgende bezoek aan A’dam, boeken we hier opnieuw.

Stout&Co is een B&B echt anders dan anders.Heel vriendelijk onthaal,kraaknette ruime kamer, uitgekiend interieur, groot terras met het gevoel van een binnentuin.Personeel was heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam: van rondleiding in het ter plaatse gevestigde landschapsarchitectenbureau tot heel wat fijne tips om de stad te verkennen. En als kers op de taart een heerlijk ontbijt samen met onze zoon.Deze unieke locatie raden we onze vrienden zeker aan.

We were delighted with our stay at Stout & Co. We loved the fact that it was small, personal and nothing was too much trouble. Finished to an extremely high spec, spotlessly clean, with fresh flowers to welcome us. Great outdoor space to sit and have a coffee outside the rooms.
The staff were really helpful, did a superb continental breakfast (warm bread fresh from the oven!) and gave us very constructive advice to help us organise our visits round this wonderful city.
We would highly recommend this place if visiting Amsterdam. Apart from a taxi on the first night, we walked everywhere; we do enjoy walking. It is a 15-20 minute walk from the centre of the city.
Very modern hotel, large suite, unfortunately you have to go up 23 steps to get to the rooms! Nice aromatherapy bath products, needs more storage space, could use a microwave and toaster in kitchenette. Close walk to bus or tram.
Stout & Co. is a great place to stay. The apartment was modern, clean, very comfy and very stylish. Beautiful terrace in front of the apartments but we didn’t use it because of the weather.
Arienne and Sonya are super friendly hosts and they take care of everything.
Quiet area/neighborhood. The zoo and the city center are in walikng distance, also the tram station.
If we come back to Amsterdam we will definitely stay there again!

Stylish, comfortable and cool, loved this hotel. 10 minute stroll to central Amsterdam, it’s everything we needed. Loved it. Friendly welcome too. Wish we were still there.

Everything was wonderful, from the room incredibly decorated to the delicious breakfast and of course the kindness of all the people there.
Quite possibly the best boutique B&B we’ve ever stayed in! Everything about Stout was perfect… Comfy bed, Aesop products, beautifully minimalist decor, delicious breakfasts and on a super-quiet road. It’s perfectly located for walking in to town and has great little eateries on its doorstep. But Stout’s best asset was the host – endless advice on where to visit and someone who went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay. We will definitely be back! Thank you Stout!
